Star of the hit Star Wars movies, Mark Hamill, “refuses to believe” we have seen the last of his iconic character, Luke Skywalker.

After speaking with the BBC, Hamill revealed that he is not quite ready to say goodbye to the hero of the movies that he first starred in, in 1977. He has come up with a theory that Skywalker may have teleported when he disappears in The Last Jedi.

“I refuse to believe that he’s gone,” Hamill says. “My theory is he just teleported to somewhere else and left his robe behind.”
As we all saw in one of the final scenes of The Last Jedi, Luke Skywalker disappears in front of villain Kylo Ren, but Hamill has come up with a humorous theory that he has “teleported to a nudist colony – that’s what I’m hoping,”.

The Last Jedi has been nominated for four awards at the 90th Academy Awards, including a nomination for visual effects. Hamill will also be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this month (March 8) and will be joined by the creator of Star Wars, George Lucas, and co-star Harrison Ford. He will be the 2,630th star to be honoured with a Hollywood star and will take place in front of the El Capitan movie theatre in Los Angeles.
Mark Hamill tweeted in regards to how honoured he is to be receiving the prestigious honorary star;
Star Trek star, William Shatner, also took to Twitter to congratulate Hamill, and famously teased him on receiving the recognition. “BTW ask for a star on the south side of the street. I’m on the north side and don’t want to devalue the neighborhood.”, he mocked.
