Will Chris Evans no longer be on our screens as the iconic Captain America? After speaking with the New York Times, Evans announced he may not be returning after the fourth and final Avengers movie, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

Since 2011, we have seen the American actor play the almighty Captain America, and no longer seeing him feature in any more of the Marvel movies, will definitely be a tremendous change.

The final Avengers movie is to be released in 2019, and Marvel fans may need to be prepared to say goodbye to more than one of the iconic heroes. Rumours have surfaced online, that many of the main heroes we see as a part of the Avengers franchise may exit in Avengers, meaning multiple deaths could occur to kill some characters off.

Evans said, “you want to get off the train before they push you off.” and is why he will be departing from his superhero role of 8 years.

According to the original Marvel comics, many of our favourite superheroes die throughout their original storylines, however, there has been more of a likelihood and speculation of superheroes Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor, dying in the last of the Avenger films. But it is unclear who will be chosen and whose storyline will come to an end.

All three of these heroes have had three major movie blockbusters, whereas the other Marvel universe characters have not had many of their self-titled movies released as of yet.

Many fans have created theories, that as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, departs from the Marvel franchise, he may be replaced by his friends Falcon or the Winter Soldier as the new and next Captain America.

Vision, who is another character within the Marvel universe has also been speculated to die in the new release, but he has only been a part of the team since the second Avengers, ‘Age of Ultron’ (2015).

Many of the trailers released for the new movie, teases fans by showing each of these characters on the verge of being defeated, leaving it a question that will remain to be unanswered until fans see the release of ‘Infinity War’, which will be in UK cinemas on the 26th of April 2018.
